Model PBGSMU053Contractor grade: a heavy-duty silver metal housing with seven outlets at 1500 Joules, two of them wide-spaced for transformer plugs. Two USB-A ports share 3.4 amps, and mounting slots let it fix to a bench or a wall.
Prime's contractor grade line trades plastic for a heavy-duty metal housing, and this silver seven-outlet model is meant for offices, retail stores and workshops running small electronics. Five grounded outlets sit alongside two wide-spaced ones for transformer-sized plugs, all of them carrying 1500 Joules with EMI/RFI filtering.
Two USB-A charging ports share 3.4 amps for phones and tablets. Mounting slots on the ends and the back let it be fixed to a bench, a wall or the underside of a desk instead of left loose, and a lighted on/off switch with a circuit breaker guards against overloads. Protected and grounded LEDs confirm the protection is working and the outlet is properly grounded. A 6ft cord on a right-angle plug, indoor use only.

If the Protected indicator light goes out, the surge protector has served its purpose and must be replaced. Continuing to use it after the indicator light has burned out is misuse, and voids the limited warranty.
Indoor use only. Do not use in receptacles that are not properly grounded, daisy-chain surge protectors, plug the unit into an extension cord, or use it with a UPS, a generator, a three-to-two-prong adapter, or heat-producing appliances.
